To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the documentary film "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru", produced and directed by renowned filmmaker Fang Li, has announced a special screening across Chinaon September 6th, 2025, marking the film's one-year anniversary. Within just one weekend after the announcement, 2,319 cinemas in China have responded positively and registered to participate in the event.
